George Clooney feels very strongly about the environment. So much so he went on Jimmy Kimmel’s show to call climate change skeptics a whole lot of bad names. (Follow the link to see what he had to say.)
One would assume Clooney is doing his part to reduce his carbon footprint to protect the environment, right? Well … no.
Clooney loves private plans more than he loves fighting climate change. Here’s a look at some of his publicized private flights around the world:
July 2018: “George Clooney was spotted boarding a private jet to make his way out of Sardinia on Thursday morning, days after he was injured in a scooter crash. Accompanied by his wife Amal Clooney, 40, the actor appeared slightly frail, as he leaned on the rails to help himself up the jet’s stairs ahead of making their journey home with their baby twins Ella and Alexander, one.” – Daily Mail.
February 2019: “Meghan Markle was flown home from New York City in a $43million private jet laid on by George and Amal Clooney – and in an extraordinary baby shower gift the A-listers picked up the $125,000 bill, MailOnline can exclusively reveal.” – Daily Mail.
April 2019: “George and Amal Clooney were recently spotted on a rare outing with their twin children, Ella and Alexander. On Sunday, the Clooneys arrived in a Los Angeles airport on a private jet early in the morning.” – International Business Times.
April 2019: “Hollywood A-lister George Clooney, his wife Amal and their two-year-old twins Alexander and Ella spent several days over the Easter break in Ireland getting to know his Irish cousins. He also squeezed in dinner dates with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and U2 frontman Bono. After their whistlestop Irish break, George, Amal and their children left the country by private jet yesterday.” – The Independent.

It’s a shame there are no commercial flights in and out of Los Angeles.
